The Sunburst League
Founded in 1962, the Sunburst League is Alberta's premier Senior AAA baseball league. The Sunburst League primarily consists of players who have AAA, collegiate or professional baseball experience and are looking to continue to play the game of baseball in their communities. The winner of the Sunburst League earns the right to represent Alberta at Baseball Canada's Men's National Championships the following season.

Interested in playing Sunburst League baseball in 2023?
The Edmonton Padres are currently recruiting for all positions for the 2023 season (20 regular season games, playoffs plus two tournaments). If you have played baseball at a higher level such as 18U AAA, Collegiate or Semi-Professional baseball, this league is for you.
Players must be 19+ years or older to play in the Sunburst League.

2022 Sunburst League Champions - Sherwood Park Athletics
For winning the 2022 Sunburst League playoffs, the Sherwood Park Athletics will represent Alberta at the 2023 Baseball Canada Men's National Championship in Red Deer, Alberta.
